My name is Saigon Snow.
I was born in 1973 in Krakow, Poland.
Later for many years I lived and worked in Sweden. Living in the Swedish forest close to lakes inspired my paintings' themes for many years.
I had worked as an illustrator for magazines and advertising agencies in big, busy cities.
Finding a place in Sweden where I could paint in a quiet way changed my process of thinking.

For over 3 years now Saigon has been my home. After the Nordic cold of Sweden, the tropical light of Vietnam and the abundant colors of nature, plants and fruits have changed my perception.
I have changed myself and my paintings are different too – transforming to the next chapter. I like to work with bright colors, composing them with almost flat black backgrounds.
Sun, joy, and humor are my current themes in paintings.
